Dear friends of Saint Spyridon,

I have been invited to stay on with Project Mexico and Saint Innocent Orphanage as a tutor/counselor! With your generous aid, I hope to stay for a year or more to provide educational support in these challenging times and assist the local Orthodox Church which is run from the orphanage grounds. God-willing, I will also complete OCMC missionary training to be able to continue serving abroad.

Maria Tschetter recently served as the Parish Council President at St. Spyridon for 6 years. She is an active board member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society and co-ministry leader for Panaghia’s Pantry and Senior Support Angels. She and her husband Jon and their children have faithfully served the parish since its formation as one of the six founding families of St. Spyridon.
