Laying Our Foundation
Groundbreaking Ceremony

- Maria Tschetter -

After almost 16 years, our St. Spyridon parish celebrated a milestone last week, with the blessing and ceremonial groundbreaking for our church renovation.

The sun was shining as we donned our hard hats and took photos to mark this important event
in our church history.

The Mustard Seed lesson is especially relevant for this project and for our growing community. 16 years ago, a handful of families had that faith and love that someday this church would realize this incredible event. And we have grown in leaps and bounds and more importantly in faith and love together, as a community. The mustard seed faith has enabled us to “move mountains” and we will soon have a beautifully remodeled sanctuary and narthex, with site improvements beyond our dreams.

Thank you to everyone who participated, not only in this special event, but throughout the years.

This event brought in almost $2400, and our Mustard Seed Match donations are close to $30,000!

Little by little, with faith and love we are moving forward together and we are excited for the upcoming FUNdraising events we have planned throughout our renovation project.
